What is accessible?

Amenities, services and facilities are included in this site because, in the judgement of the advertiser, they offer a reasonable level of access for wheelchair users and those requiring a relatively inclusive environment. Where facilities for people with sensory impairment or other disabilities are present, these are shown on the individual pages.

We do however recognise that each person's ability to access a particular environment will depend upon a number of additional personal factors known only to that individual, and therefore inclusion of a particular amenity or facility on any Good Access Guide website does not imply 'access for all', nor 'compliance' with the Disability Discrimination Act or other legislation.
